It is intended for steel media burnishing of brass, bronze, and related alloys, especially with high soil and oil loading. It also works for burnishing aluminum, zinc die cast parts, and other items with high lead content. It keeps media bright and clean.

No. 43 is a mild alkaline multi-burnish compound with outstanding lubricating, cushioning, soil suspending, and lustering properties, surpassing many specialty compounds. No. 43 works well with any media and leaves no film on the work. It performs equally well in vibratory or controlled finishing equipment.
